Mohali, kulbir kalsi. --------The NSS unit of Aryans College of Education organized “Padh Yatra on Functional Literacy” under the banner of Human Rights and Development - Educating the Youth to sensitize the masses in village Nepra. The NSS volunteers went on foot and educated the people about the qualities of being an educated human beings and how they can become good citizens and make the country shine like a star.
Dr. Manjula Kataria, Principal, Aryans College of Education said that the educated citizens are the real strength of the nation. She also stressed upon the empowerment of women, literacy campaign and to fight against the social evils. Dr.Jaswinder Singh, Vice Principal, Aryans College of Education said that these type of activities help youth to understand human right concerns.
Students and staff members of Aryans participated in the event and the public joined them. Students held placards, banners also. The students also talked about sending the women to adult education centers. The Rally received large scale appreciation from the people of Nepra Village.
