People fed up with Amarinder-Sukhbir brand of politics

Chandigarh : kulbir kalsi. ------People are fed up with the Amarinder-Sukhbir brand of dirty politics where the only agenda is tu-tu main-main. People’s Party of Punjab (PPP) President Manpreet Singh Badal said this was a major feedback received during his interaction with people in all the 117 constituencies of Punjab. One of the first acts of the PPP led Sanjha Morcha government would be to abolish the VIP culture which is exemplified by these two leaders, who are only concerned with abusing each other and have failed to bring any meaningful agenda in the state. “PPP will abolish this feudal culture which is now on its last legs. The Amarinder-Sukhbir duo are symbols of this defunct culture”. We will bring about a new culture, where People of Punjab are brought centrestage and the debate is about their future and not the future of the Amarinder-Sukhbir duo. time has come for a new brand of politics and a new breed of politicians who think for the People, and want to bring about a revolutionary change in state politics. People do not want to listen to same slogans which have been repeated for over a decade. The agenda of Punjab politics is changing, courtesy the People’s Party of Punjab and the Sanjha Morcha. PPP President Manpreet Singh Badal said he was pained to see the leaders of the two parties indulging in a slanging match with each other and not presenting anything new to the people of Punjab. It is only the People’s Party that is bringing about a new agenda of governance, a new economic rejuvenation model and a dramatic way of involving people in decision making. The 2012 elections will yield results which will knock out the last remains of the Amarinder-Sukhbir culture, Manpreet added.
