Singapore students visit schools, Rock Garden

Chandigarh ·kulbir kalsi.. On their third day in the city, the Singapore Student-Teacher delegation visited GMSSS Sector -8. They were welcomed by the Principal, Mrs. Renu Puri. Students and teachers had a one to one interaction with students of �Vatsal Chhaya�, NCC Wing, Beauty Culture, Fashion and Textile Designing. A Hand Ball match was played with the host team. At DPS-40, the delegation was received by the School Principal, Mrs. Reema Dewan. Students were taken to the Science and Mathematics Lab to get in insight of the teaching methodologies and to the school auditorium for activity rounds such as �The Global Canvas�, �Wire Moulding�, �Dumb Charades� and many more. There was great bonhomie during the lunch break at the school. The delegation visited Nek Chand�s world famous Rock Garden. They were taken on a round of the garden. Students and teachers also went around Sector19 and 22 markets for sightseeing and shopping spree before calling it a day.
