CII AVANTHA Centre to promote MSMEs internationally by introducing their concepts on competitiveness

CII AVANTHA Centre for Competitiveness for SMEs, the Chandigarh based Centre of Excellence of CII today attested its presence internationally with announcing their cluster approach beyond India, which is being planned in South Africa and is expected next year. This announcement, Mr Harjinder Jeet Singh, Principal Counselor, CII AVANTHA Centre for competitiveness for SMEs made on the sidelines of an ongoing session, where a 40 member delegation from 19 countries were participating , seeking to learn about the activities of the CII-AVANTHA Centre in Small Business and Self Help Group Activities in India. �The move to form cluster in South Africa is at an advanced stage. Other countries from where we have got enquires and where the cluster approach is likely to be taken are Malawi and Mauritius,� stated Harinder Jeet Singh.For most of the developing and underdeveloped countries, the road map for SME development is India� said RM Khanna, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Northern Region & Managing Director, Stanley Engineering Pvt Limited. �Be it new product innovation, service or business model, India, with is vast knowledge, ideas and state of technology today has conquered the MSME world and has built its image at a Globally�,Speaking about the purpose of the visit of the international delegation, Rishi Raj Singh, Program Director, NIESBUD said, �The international delegation is here to learn about the Indian varied experiences in the realm of entrepreneurship, cluster approach, small business, self employment and self help groups.� This delegation has been brought by NIESBUD (National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development which is a part of a two week learning tour, he informed.
