The team of Rotary Chandigarh

Chandigarh, kulbir kalsi: The team of Rotary Chandigarh Shivalik comprising Col. Iqbal Singh, Bachittar Singh and Ashu B Singh was adjudged the Best Team in the Rotary District Golf Tournament held at the Chandigarh Golf Club today. Around 50 Rotarian golfers from District 3080 (Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh) participated in this prestigious golf tournament. Mr. Manpreet Singh, Rotary District Governor, was the Chief Guest on the occasion and he and the other golfers were welcomed by Ashok Laroia, President, Rotary Chandigarh Shivalik

Announcing the results, Dr. G. S. Kochhar, District Golf Chairman, stated that the tournament was played in the Stableford format. The handicap of the players was calculated after completion of the rounds as per Peoria System. The winners were presented the prizes by Mr. Manpreet Singh, Rotary District Governor, Mr. Rahul Sondhi, Vice President, HSBC and Capt. Jaideep Kapoor, Managing Director, CTI
